Resurrection

I thought after a break of seven years that I'd make a comeback. And how long will that last? Who knows?? So if anyone out in the blogosphere is listening/watching/waiting, here's a brief catch-up of the last 7 years:

  •  Child no. 1 born - August 2013
  •  Child No. 2 born - July 2015
  •  House renovation - WIP. I always wondered why so many people took AAAAGES to complete a reno.......
  •  Droughts
  •  Record rainy seasons
  •  Hot summers
  •  Cold winters
  •  Crops planted, grown, harvested
  •  Sheep born, shorn, sold
  •  Over 7500 meals made
  •  Approx 1500 loads of washing
  •  A few birthdays
  •  Seven happy years :-)

I tend not to feature much in pics as I am mostly the one behind the camera.  I may regret that one day....
Here are some shots of the boys in my life.

Those sweet little faces Christmas 2016

Until next time.....hopefully!!

Wildlife

I haven't posted for a while as I have been quite busy. There's still a lot to be done in the house, and it is generally in a state of disarray, which is driving me bananas! Anyway, I was walking down the driveway to get the mail two days ago when I came across two tiny leverets (baby hares) on the front lawn. They had obviously been deserted. They were wet and covered in ants so I cleaned them up, put them in a box and waited to see what happened. Eventually they perked up a little so Bill and I let them go. They have disappeared now, so I have to let nature do it's thing I suppose. They were VERY cute and both of them fit in the palm of my hand.

Tasmania

For our honeymoon, Bill and I decided to head south in search of sensible weather - Tasmania. We had a lovely holiday and Bill did an excellent job of organising it. Here are some snaps of your trip. Unfortunately my brand new Nikon digital SLR broke after I dropped it on day 4....it was not a good moment....but after some gaffa tape repairs it was in use again, and again, and again (just ask Bill!)

The wedding

Bill and I were married 2 January 2010. Here are some shots of the day, not in order.

A "moment" during the speeches.

My aunty did a superb job with the flowers. This is a shot of the table decorations.

The bridal party. Very smart.

This is one of my favourite shots of our wedding. It was such a fun day.

This is my very first blog posting so it won't be very interesting. This is my third night installed as Mrs Evans at "Killenbutta" Molong. I have lots of boxes to unpack but managed to find time to make a banana cake....cakes are an essential part of the diet. I will post some photos soon.
